1. To know more about the baccalaureate program as well as the master’s program, especially the curricular design, distinguishing featuring and teaching facilities.
2.To see if there is any chance of short-term exchange program, focusing on transcultural nursing studies.

McGill 大學護理學院簡介 |

McGill大學護理學系的交流，該護理學系已有80幾年的歷史，目前設有一般日間部護理學系(BSN)、在職進修學士班(BSN for RN)、護理學士後碩士班、非護理學士後碩士班以及博士班等學制。 |

McGill大學護理學系自行發展一套「McGill護理模式(McGill Model of Nursing)」且有80幾年的歷史。其護理學系主任Dr. Ezer，在初步瞭解我們護理學院的教學宗旨、目標、課程、國際交流等內容後，即侃侃而談雙方交流的可行方式。商討的初步決議為今年底前Dr. Ezer將和另一位教員至本校參訪並進行「McGill Model of Nursing」的講授；明年則由本校博士生及教員前往交流學習，以充分配合本學系目前正進行中的課程改革。 |

渥太華大學(University of Ottawa)屬於較新成立且設備較好的學校，該校護理學系設有一般護理學系、在職學士進修班、碩士及博士班等學制，約有1400位學生，其中大學部學生為多數，約1200人，可明顯看出渥太華大學護理學系在加拿大護理人力培育上所扮演的重要角色。 |

助理副校長(Associate Vice-President) Dr. Lauzon曾至本學系參訪，此次的用心安排，使此次的參訪能充分且順利的達到國際交流之目的。兩天參訪行程緊湊且有效率，在完成本學院和其護理學系的課程、研究等各項交流、互相認識後，便參觀其示教室，為配合英文、法文教學，該系有三個小而美的示教室，僅參觀其中之一，該示教室不大，但充分利用隱蔽性的櫥櫃設計，將空間規劃得很具實用性，專責的Leclerc講師為我們展示及使用成人和嬰兒Simman，及未配有電腦設備的孕婦生產全人模型，這些模型操作簡便易懂且生動，對教學具有正向的輔助效果。 |

與豐富國際交流經驗的Dr. Carroll交換心得，並初步協調完成明年六月碩士班「跨文化護理」的修課方式－將涵蓋臨床實(見)習，詳細的進行方 式及接洽教員亦初步敲定，待回台後 雙方再將其進一步落實。 |

| 【參訪心得】 |
 此次到加拿大的國際交流期間正值深秋楓紅、料峭微寒之際，使我們在擔負國際交流務必有成的重責之下，身處他鄉美景之中，感受很多、學習更多，深幸在兼具理性與感性之旅中，順利完成本學院和McGill及渥太華大學的國際交流任務，期望能對本學院「增加國際學術交流，提升國際競爭力」有具體的貢獻。 |
